1. Exercise
If you’re groaning right now, you’re not alone. It can be tough to even think about fitness in the morning if you’re tired and have a busy schedule.
However, it’s important to fit cardio or weights into the day to stay fit in body and in mind. If you need a bit of a push, then sign up for a class as having a set start-time, as well as an instructor to follow, will help keep you accountable. Ask a friend too if they want to get more exercise, and you two can motivate one another.
2. Enjoy a Few Moments to Yourself
The first start of the day when you’re feeling peaceful is a great time to have “me time.” Savor those precious minutes with a yummy cup of coffee.
A coffee subscription from https://twochimpscoffee.com/coffee-subscription/ means you’ll always have a yummy flavor available when you want it. A hot cup of java is nice to look forward to during the first hours of the day.
3. Get Ready the Night Before
Another way to get the most out of your morning regime is to start to prep the night beforehand for it. For example, at the end of the workday, create your to-do list for the next day to save yourself having to do it at the a.m.
If you’re not already using a list or schedule to guide your day, by the way, then you’re likely spending more time on things than you might otherwise. Get organized, and you’ll be a lot more efficient in the morning (and throughout the day).

4. Put Your Phone on Silent Mode
Do you find yourself getting distracted by every Facebook update or new email notification pinging on your smartphone? If so, put it on silent.
Not hearing the sound whenever something new happens will minimize social media distractions and instead focus on getting today’s deadline done. Then you’re likely to end your workday sooner as you stayed on task and can spend time relaxing in the evening with your online activities.
5. Delicious Breakfast
Food! Pancakes are always a great idea, and this recipe is a tasty one. Get all the steps to make the fluffy pancakes, and then finish them with your choice of jam, nutty spread, or syrup.
Enjoy the treat before dashing off to work or taking the kids to school. Hey, the kids will love the dish too!
Conclusions on Improving Your Morning Routine
Almost everyone can use a bit of help to get the start of their day going smoother and more efficiently. The tips above can help you do exactly that.
While not all the suggestions might be right for you, hopefully at least one or two of them can become a part of your day. Feel good knowing you’re making the most of your time!

Great tips, the best one is get ready the night before. If things are neat and tidy and I know what I am doing for the day it sets me up nicely.

Smart tips! Once I got used to working out first thing in the morning, I actually started looking forward to starting my day that way. Definitely worth the effort!
ReplyDeleteThat's amazing Tessa - it's so much easier to workout when you actually find yourself enjoying it! x

I always get up and go straight to my computer to try to get a couple of hours of work in before my kids wake up. Once they wake up we have breakfast and hang out, then it's back to work for me and to school for them. They homeschool but we all work in the same area. And pancakes are a family favorite here!
ReplyDeleteHonestly Marie, you can't go wrong with pancakes - always been a firm favourite in my household too! And it's amazing that you manage to get yourself straight up and to the computer - I don't think I'd be able to focus on work that early! x
DeleteLots of love,
Marina Rosie x
all these I need to incorporate to my morning routine. I usually wake up minutes before I start working. there must really be some changes to be imposed.
ReplyDeleteTotally, I think you would definitely feel a lot more awake and refreshed if you took a few moments to yourseld and made sure you were nourished before starting work! x

Marina Rosie x
Aw, I love these tips. It's very encouraging. Thanks for sharing!! ❤️
ReplyDeleteI definitely agree on the exercise part. I work-out for nearly 20 mins every day and feel great about it haha.

Thank you so much for coming to read Maria, it means a lot to me! Haha, it does feel amazing to get a workout in although, most of the time, I feel horrific during the workout - only afterwards do I feel good about the fact that I've done it. During, it's just aches, pains and sweat haha! x
DeleteLots of love,
Marina Rosie x
Great advice. I always try and drink water first thing in the morning before my coffee. Stretches are also a very important thing in the morning to give your muscles a gentle wake up call.
ReplyDeleteYess, hydrating with that water is absolutely vital! I'll definitely try and incorporate more stretches into my morning routine too - thank you! x

I agree with keeping the phone on silent, it really can be a distraction that can get your day off to a less than productive start.
ReplyDeleteXO, MJ

Definitely MJ! However, sometimes, it's just far too tempting - I'm practically glued to my phone so, even when it's on silent, I still try and peek! x

I totally try and have a little time to myself in the morning to set me up for the day x
ReplyDeleteThanks for reading Em! Me time is so important and first thing in the morning is a great slot - in bed, nobody bothering you, just bliss! x

I know I really need to make the effort to incorporate exercise into my daily routine and I know I need to spend some time getting ready the night before!
ReplyDeleteIt takes time Tena! My routines are sometimes a shambles - it just depends on what's going on in my life at the time! So don't worry! x
DeleteLots of love,
Marina Rosie x
I totally agree with this! Especially about exercising. I try to do that right when I wake up and then I will shower and get ready for the day. I feel so much more productive when I do that versus when I don't!
ReplyDelete-Charity https://morningsonmacedonia.com
Perfect Charity! At least it's out of the way and you feel fresh and energised for the remainder of the day! x

When I was younger I would jump out of bed ready to go, now it takes me a few minutes to wake up. I have a cup of tea and then start to get ready.
ReplyDeleteI can totally relate to that - school and college have always been a rush! At least you're able to take that time out nowadays for a cuppa! x
DeleteLots of love,
Marina Rosie x
I've tried the morning exercising and it makes my day better but it was tough keep going and I need to get back to it. Thank you for sharing these awesome ways!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for reading Fransic! It is tough (I will admit, I'm preferring the evening for it at the moment - too lazy in the morning) but I promise you'll get back into it! x
DeleteLots of love,

I am getting there. I have started working out in the mornings again and it puts me in such a great mood.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad it does - it's so much better when you're actually enjoying it and it adds a positive aspect to your life! x

I'm nearly getting to these habits haha, workaholic person here
ReplyDeleteHaha, I bet it's hard to create time for yourself in the morning if you're straight up for work so I totally understand! x

I need to get better at a lot of these things, mainly exercising in the morning and preparing at night and getting more sleep.
ReplyDeleteIt's so important to get those 8 hours especially, just for your skin, you brain and overall health - even 9 if you can! x

Funny enough, I'm reading this first thing in the morning while my body is trying to remember all the steps required to breathe, and my heart starts beating again. I am going to go exercise now, and hopefully by then, I'll be awake, lol. I'm not a coffee drinker, but I do have to have my morning diet coke before anyone is allowed to talk to me, haahaa
ReplyDeleteHaha, this made me chuckle! Definitely take a few moments before trying to read in the morning - honestly, if I even attempt to make out a single word on the page my eyes go blurry! I'm also a sucker for a good diet coke so I feel you there! x

A coffee subscription sounds like a fabulous idea to me...along with those pancakes! x
