5 Fast Ways to Improve Your Morning Routine

Do you tend to feel sluggish after waking up? If you’d like to make the most of the a.m. time and feel like you haven’t found a good way to do so, try one or more of the suggestions below. You might find yourself looking forward to mornings again!

1. Exercise
If you’re groaning right now, you’re not alone. It can be tough to even think about fitness in the morning if you’re tired and have a busy schedule.
However, it’s important to fit cardio or weights into the day to stay fit in body and in mind. If you need a bit of a push, then sign up for a class as having a set start-time, as well as an instructor to follow, will help keep you accountable. Ask a friend too if they want to get more exercise, and you two can motivate one another.

2. Enjoy a Few Moments to Yourself

The first start of the day when you’re feeling peaceful is a great time to have “me time.” Savor those precious minutes with a yummy cup of coffee.
A coffee subscription from https://twochimpscoffee.com/coffee-subscription/ means you’ll always have a yummy flavor available when you want it. A hot cup of java is nice to look forward to during the first hours of the day.

3. Get Ready the Night Before

Another way to get the most out of your morning regime is to start to prep the night beforehand for it. For example, at the end of the workday, create your to-do list for the next day to save yourself having to do it at the a.m.
If you’re not already using a list or schedule to guide your day, by the way, then you’re likely spending more time on things than you might otherwise. Get organized, and you’ll be a lot more efficient in the morning (and throughout the day).

4. Put Your Phone on Silent Mode

Do you find yourself getting distracted by every Facebook update or new email notification pinging on your smartphone? If so, put it on silent.
Not hearing the sound whenever something new happens will minimize social media distractions and instead focus on getting today’s deadline done. Then you’re likely to end your workday sooner as you stayed on task and can spend time relaxing in the evening with your online activities.

5. Delicious Breakfast

Food! Pancakes are always a great idea, and this recipe is a tasty one. Get all the steps to make the fluffy pancakes, and then finish them with your choice of jam, nutty spread, or syrup.
Enjoy the treat before dashing off to work or taking the kids to school. Hey, the kids will love the dish too!

Conclusions on Improving Your Morning Routine

Almost everyone can use a bit of help to get the start of their day going smoother and more efficiently. The tips above can help you do exactly that.
While not all the suggestions might be right for you, hopefully at least one or two of them can become a part of your day. Feel good knowing you’re making the most of your time!

  11. I always get up and go straight to my computer to try to get a couple of hours of work in before my kids wake up. Once they wake up we have breakfast and hang out, then it's back to work for me and to school for them. They homeschool but we all work in the same area. And pancakes are a family favorite here!
