Hey guys and welcome BACK to yet another blog post on another wonderful Wednesday - I hope the week, so far, hasn't been too intolerable for any of you! However, even if it has, I'd appreciate it if you sat back, relaxed and took your mind off of current affairs for a short few minutes and gave me your time instead (just know that it's always such a privilege for me to have you here) because, today, after rather a while, we're making a much needed (and also much requested) return to hair.
Ever since I released my post last year on Hair Jazz growth products, I have received an INFLUX of comments regarding those particular treatments, updates on my journey to longer and healthier hair, less expensive alternatives, you name it, which is precisely why I've decided that I will be talking a lot more openly and candidly about my hair from now onwards and the different products I've been experimenting with over the last while, which leads us perfectly onto today's focus.
Recently, the lovely Gedas from KLIPshop, my personal favourite hair, cosmetics and fragrance retailer for Great Britain and Europe, reached out to me about giving a couple of their newest haircare additions a try as gifted press samples and, of course, I was up for it - I ended up receiving, amongst the products, a bottle of Ivy Bears Hair Vitamins for women.
For those of you that don't know or are only familiar with a similar, competing brand because they shove their products down our throats through influencers via Instagram (cough cough), Ivy Bears is a brand dedicated to, for the moment, hair gummies and hair gummies alone, claiming to improve strength, glow and growth of ANY type of hair. Yes, you're right, that is one bold claim! However, said claim doesn't come to us without a hell of a lot of evidence to back it up - this product boasts a beautiful ingredients roster, packed with vitamins, biotin, Folic acid and hair nutrients and is also doing an amazing job at catering for the masses, using pectin instead of gelatin, thus making it Vegan and Halal certified.
But, of course, the proof really is in the pudding - I was just as intrigued to discover if these actually work as the next person, so I began my month with optimum optimism (I'm proud of that one, don't knock it).
As a guideline, one is supposed to chew two gummies daily, however, I was unable to locate any details as to when they're intended for consumption (morning, afternoon, both at the same time, each at different times...?); I eventually decided upon the routine of one gummy upon waking up and another upon returning from college, which works fairly well for me. Plus, it does give me something to look forward to in the evenings, as I have a major sweet tooth and these are just delicious! Despite the fact that, whilst I'm gazing into the eyes of each little bear, a certain sentiment of guilt passes over me before I chew the thing to oblivion, I can't help but enjoy the sensation. The wonderful taste of strawberry is very evident on the palette and is a big step forward from most other supplements that I've tried of this type.
What effect has it had on your hair though? Great question - so far, since embarking on my first full month of the program (I am currently doing second so if anybody would like an update at any point, I'm an open book), I've noticed a little bit of growth, totalling 0.7cm which is, without a shadow of a doubt, born from the integration of Ivy Bears into my diet, as I'm not using any other form of hair growth product at the moment. 0.7cm, for some, might not seem like very much however, it's worth noting that my hair is incredibly stubborn when it comes to getting longer (that's probably payback for chemically treating it... oops) so, quite frankly, I'm a very happy camper. In addition, the benefit of more length has been accompanied by more life too - I get a strong feeling that my Ivy Bears program has been a contributing factor in the decrease of hair that ends up coming out onto my paddle brush. And, everybody who knows that struggle well is aware of how depressing it can be to watch the hair you've worked hard to maintain/restore being ripped out by a simple comb through or brush through so that, for me, makes Ivy Bears so much more worthwhile.
In conclusion, although the brand itself advises three months of use before searching for highly visible results, I am of the opinion that Ivy Bears hair vitamins really do work and deliver what's required for an overall better looking head of hair in the sweetest fashion. Based on what I've already seen, month two has HUGE potential to be an even bigger success; at just £14.94 a bottle (the more you buy, the bigger the discount KLIPshop will offer you!), these gummies are 100% worth trying out and I couldn't recommend them more to anyone who wants to feel good and look confident sporting their own glossy locks.
Thank you so much for reading tonight's post on my experience with Ivy Bears - I'm so happy to have been able to provide a rather detailed recount of how I got on and support a brand that are actually deserving of our attention. And, of course, don't forget to have a cheeky little nosy and exploration time on KLIPshop - there are THOUSANDS more products to choose from on the website based on your preferences!
Are you struggling with hair growth problems or just desire healthier hair in general? Would you give Ivy Bears a try for yourself?
Let me know in the comments section below, along with anything else you'd like to contribute - I'd love to hear from you! As usual, follow this blog on your way out to make sure you're back here promptly, ready for the next post: trust me, you're not going to want to miss out on any of my posts leading up to Christmas and that is, indeed a fact!
Until next time,
I really like the shape of these gummies! Pretty cool that these gummies are meant to help promote healthy hair and all of that good stuff with your hair. It's great that the gummies taste good as well. Glad the results worked out well for you! Big plus that it doesn't cost a ton either. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!

Thank you for the lovely comment Nancy! The gummies are honestly the cutest things I've seen and I love the way they taste, which isn't always the case with hair growth supplements as, trust me, I've tried some that have tasted like cat piss. NO JOKE. They really do work so I totally recommend! x

Hey darl! x
DeleteI'm so happy you enjoyed this one - seeing you in the comment section always puts a smile on my face! Yass, my hair grows SO slowly because of the type of hair we've got so it was amazing to see that these actually worked after such a short period of time! Thank you so much for saying that - as you can see, I'm only just coming back after being away for around three months (family circumstances) so look forward to more because, girl, I'm back and just getting started! x

What about Ivybears for men? I found reviews for ivybears for women but can't seem to find any for men. Do they help in reducing chances of baldness?
ReplyDeleteHi there! x
DeleteI don't know about the men's version unfortunately, I'll try and hunt down an article/review for you now! If not, I'm sure there are plenty of products designed to do that job that state "less chance of baldness" - just do a quick Google search! x

Thank you! x

Im a little bit skeptical with commercialized hair vitamins, because I am a pro-natural products. But, I am happy that the results are positive on you. Thank you for sharing. Hope this review will also help others.
ReplyDeleteI can totally understand where you're coming from darl - there are a lot of products on the market currently that take advantage of the consumer and don't actually do anything. However, I did genuinely see results from Ivy Bears and continued the program! x
