Before we begin, take your socks and shoes off, prepare yourself a snack (healthy or decadent, I don't judge) and get comfortable because it's haul time. *scream and cheer here*
I love doing one brand makeup hauls, as it allows me to test out and review a wide range of products instead of drawing conclusions based on one. So, after being lucky enough to receive a package of products from the wonderful Labelle Makeup (all of which I'm absolutely head over heels in love with) I've come to feedback to you guys with my personal thoughts and feelings on each of the products. Not to give away the conclusion but let's just say that I'm incredibly impressed by these and am now using them all as a part of my day to day makeup routine.
I hope you guys are ready, because this is going to be a good one!
Contour Palette (Light) - £15
Contour Palette (Dark) - £15
As I've mentioned previously, contouring, for me, has become very similar to a religion - I simply HAVE to practice it! I love 'carving' out my jawline and sculpting my cheekbones and what better way to do it than with one of these beautiful contour books.
Now, I'm normally one of those people who sticks to powder contour kits as, in the past, I've had several negative experiences using creams - the last thing you want is a muddy, streaky contour! However, I decided to give these ones a chance and I absolutely adore the results.
The packaging is sleek, simple and chic, with that magnetic closure that you guys know, by now, I expect to see on a product. I was also very impressed with the composition and wide range of shades you're getting within each palette - no matter your skin tone, you will definitely find a shade for your highlighting, concealing and contouring. The swatches are as follows:
Light contour palette: Shades swatched from left to right and top row to bottom row |
Dark contour palette: Shades swatched from left to right and top row to bottom row |
Overall, it's safe to say that these contour palettes are a triumph and totally worth the purchase. Just yesterday, after using some shades from the light and dark palette for concealing, highlighting, contouring and shaping my brows (it's also extremely versatile!) I received plenty of compliments regarding the shape of my face and how flawless it looked. And that's down to these palettes right here, so go and pick them up!
Matte Liquid Lipstick (6 shade bundle) - £60.00
I feel like, nowadays, everyone is a stickler for a good matte liquid lip. Well, I know I certainly am, so when I spotted these, it was love at first sight... (Cue that Marvin Gaye love song that everyone knows but can't name.)
Within this collection, 4 of the shades were worked on by Labelle in collaboration with popular Croatian beauty guru Amadea Muse and the other two released after. You can purchase the entire 6 shade bundle (much like mine), the 4 shade bundle containing just the shades by Amadea Muse or you can select which ones you like and buy them separately. I, personally, recommend purchasing a bundle - you get a fantastic deal!
Shades from top to bottom: Nude Souffle, Slaysolutely, Pink Latte, Neyra Doll, Glamadea, Vamp Addict |
The formula itself has, also, really impressed me. I mean, it really is what you'd call 'Matte Perfection' - these liquid lipsticks are pigmented, non streaky and can survive a nuclear war without even budging. At all, whatsoever. And, if you don't believe me, being as wacky as I am, I decided to put them to the test, running hot water and soap all over the swatches - they definitely came out on top!
Premium Human Hair Lashes (Denise) - £6.99
Premium Human Hair Lashes (Eliora) - £6.99
Premium Human Hair Lashes (Ella) - £6.99
On to the next one, and here we've got three stunning pairs of lashes, hand crafted from premium human hair.
Although, most days, I tend to ditch the lashes and go for a swift coat of mascara instead, I am an unabashed lash addict and collect them like there's no tomorrow! These pairs look gorgeous amongst my collection, feel really comfortable on and blend in well with my natural lashes. When applied with some Ardell lash glue, these really don't move - there's a 0% chance of your lashes falling tragically into your date's drink on a night out.
My favourite pair of the three is definitely 'Denise' - it's the perfect balance between length and volume, making them dramatic yet delicate at the same time, which is something I absolutely love when it comes to lashes.
I am, for sure, a fan of these lashes - don't be surprised if you spot me sporting them in a future Instagram post! (Hint, hint...)
14 Piece Artist Collection Makeup Brush Collection - £45
Last but not least, I was gifted this beautiful set of 14 brushes which, for me, was one of the highlights of the package. These cruelty-free brushes definitely have the wow-factor with their stunning cream to rose gold handles and remain lightweight without feeling tacky or cheap.
Within the collection, there are 5 larger face brushes and 9 different smaller brushes (mainly for use on and around the eye area). All of them are baby soft - it feels almost as if you're being lightly tickled by a dandelion when you apply your blush!
Overall, I'm really impressed by this 14 piece brush set - it's very affordable, the brushes are the perfect texture and I still haven't noticed any shedding after at least 3 weeks of owning them! Now that's a record!
As a brand, Labelle Makeup ticks all of the boxes for myself and my makeup needs. You guys know that, normally, I'm brutally honest when it comes to product reviews - if there's an issue, I'll always address it. However, here, I can't fault what I've seen, as the quality of the products is second to none and I totally recommend going over to the website and trying their products out for yourselves. You won't regret it!
Thanks so much for reading this haul/brand focus/review (I don't even know what this is, maybe a mixture of all three?? You decide!)

DeleteLots of love,

Lucky you! These all look like wonderful products. I like a little color on my lips, and was swooning over the lipsticks. I've been thinking about getting eyelash extensions, and have been wondering if I should first try a pair of false lashes first? Either way, these look great!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for reading Alison - so glad you found some bits that you loved! The lippies definitely are beautiful! I, too, love a bit of colour on the lips, but I don't find these to be too bold - they're just perfect! x And yes, I reckon you should probably give a pair of falsies a go first because that'll give you a bit of an idea of what the lash extensions will look like on and how you'll feel with longer lashes. Denise is a great pair for that! xx
DeleteLots of love,
Marina Rosie xx
It is my first time hearing of Labelle makeup but I really like the look of the lippies, the colours are beautiful and while contour cream kits do scare me I would be willing to not use my trusty powder for one day! x
ReplyDeleteHaha, you're genuinely just like me Ana but trust me, these contour kits are such good value and will blow your mind! You get such a clean finish! xx SO put down that powder and slay! x
DeleteLots of love,
Marina Rosie xx
I adore those cute babies you own, I wish I had better makeup skill to use them. Can't wait to see more from your blog, thanks for sharing

So glad you like the look of them hun - they're honestly so stunning! x Awe, don't worry gorge, makeup is a skill that you learn over time - I've been watching tutorials and practicing on myself and others for so long. If you keep at it, you'll definitely start to develop the knack! x Loving your blog too, thanks so much x
DeleteLots of love,

I've never heard of Labelle before but that contour kit looks amazing! Will be interesting to see if it's a dupe for Kim Kardashian's cream contour products! x
ReplyDeleteIt is honestly stunning! x And haha - I don't think I'll be purchasing Kim's contour and highlight sets! x Have you seen how little product you get? It's ridiculous - there's at least 7 times more product in just one of these pans! x
DeleteLots of love,
Marina Rosie xx

I remember you opening the packaging for Labelle on your Snapchat. I've fallen in love with this beauty brand! It's strikingly beautiful AND at price without relevance. Also, question, can you selectively purchase ONE of those brushes, derived from the collection?
ReplyDelete#sweetreats xx www.bakingboutiquebirds.blogspot.co.uk/
Hey there lovely - I see you, my snapchat fam! xx Totally agreed - I am so in love with these, inside and out, and was so excited to share them with you guys! x Unfortunately, these brushes come exclusively in a set! x However, there are other sets and one individual brush if that floats your boat! x
DeleteLots of love,
Marina Rosie xx
OMG! This calls for haul shopping for my next blog post. Could I ask of a favour? Could you recommend other beauty product brands/websites which I can check out, being of similar price to this?
ReplyDeleteBBB xx www.beautybeblogger.blogspot.co.uk
I know right - haul shopping is ALWAYS required! x Of course, ask me anything, anytime! I'm always happy to answer any queries! x If you don't pick up the Labelle products, I highly recommend purchasing some Makeup Revolution products, as they tend to be similar prices, if not cheaper. And for the liquid lips, at the moment, I'm loving the body shop! They're so good for the money! x Hope I helped out lovely x
