Everyone within the beauty community absolutely raves about Zoeva brushes and their quality. (I, unfortunately, haven't had the pleasure of trying them out yet) However, they have come out with a few bits of makeup themselves and, of course, I had to get on it like a car bonnet.
My palette of choice was the 'Caramel Melange" because, when I saw the colour range online, I fell so hard in love; it's my typical warm and autumnal eyeshadow heaven. And plus, they are a few shades within the bunch that completely leapt out at me from my laptop screen and said: "Buy me, buy me, I'm beautiful!". So I guess I didn't have an awful lot of choice.
This palette retails for £18, which is actually quite reasonable for a "high end" product. (To put that into perspective, Too Faced's Chocolate Bar costs approximately twice as much.) The packaging is very sleek and thin, however, it doesn't feel too light to be labelled as "flimsy". Yes, you just got away with that one Zoeva!
I, personally, am a huge fan of the design at the front; it definitely resembles some sort of chocolate/candy wrapper, which is what I think they were originally going for. So, bonus points there.
For the actual shades included in this collection, we have a stunning spectrum of warm shades with majoritarily matte finishes. The description of each individual pan and their corresponding swatches are as follows:
Wax Paper: A shivering, porcelain white matte
Universal Delight: A beige matte
Aftertaste: A burnt orange matte
182*C: A smooth copper shimmer
Liquid Center: A rich, bronze shimmer with a creamy texture
Alchemy: A light brown matte with a brick red hint
Start Soft: A warm, cinnamon brown matte
Finish Sensual: A neutral, cocoa brown matte
Almost Burnt: A real, light gold shimmer
Edible Gem: A deep, plum purple matte enriched with gold flecks
In reality, I couldn't ask for a more pigmented and gorgeous set of shadows. I honestly can't get over how crazy the colour payoff with these is; all of my swatches were done without a primer/base and yet, still, the results are consistently streakless and striking. Beyond fricking belief, you guys!
Each and every shadow works effectively on the eye, and there are no problems with blending or creasing throughout the day. The matte shades apply beautifully; I kind of expected them to be underwhelming and powdery, like other mattes I've experienced (Urban Decay, that's you) but I was pleasantly surprised.
And, as for the shimmers, oh lord, how buttery can they get!

Overall, I'm very impressed with this palette; Zoeva has done a fantastic job in the selection of the shades and, of course, the formula is SPOT on. So to anyone out there looking for a warm palette of beautiful quality but for less, pick this one up. If it wasn't worth your while I wouldn't be naming it as a standout product of the month so, trust me, you'll love it just as much as I do.

I love Zoeva eyeshadow palettes - they have one of my favourite formulas regardless of price-point :) I have this one too and the shades are perfect on your skin tone, I love warm colours as well!

I remember seeing Zoeva's brushes on CultBeauty and they're absolutely gorgeous, but they wouldn't ship to the US :( I didn't know they had eyeshadow palettes too and I'm loving the beautiful warm shades - I'm so tempted to pick this up now! Thanks for sharing Marina!

Ahh - this palette is stunning! I've been wanting to try Zoeva shadows for the longest time since I've heard so many raves, but I've managed to resist because I think I already have too many similar shades. The selection in this one is amazing and I would get a lot of use out of it - but yeah, I already have so many warm browns and coppery shades!

Zoeva brushes were the first brushes I bought, completely unaware of the hype they would get one day. They are amazing quality, I love them even six years later. The makeup though is something I have no experience with.

I've never tried any make up from Zoeva but I love the colors of this palette. I want to add to my eye makeup the matte eye shadow so I hope this palette available in local store here.
